The PageWriter Trim I cardiograph has been specifically developed to meet the needs of cost conscious users without compromising 12-lead quality or sophistication.

The PageWriter Trim I is an easy-to-use, stand-alone cardiograph designed to produce quality, high-resolution ECG printouts at the point of care. Compact enough to be practical for virtually any busy working environment, the PageWriter Trim I is configured with a cart for easy transport. The Philips 12-Lead Algorithm is an advanced ECG analysis program developed by the Advanced Algorithm Research Center (AARC) that uses sophisticated mathematical processes for interpreting cardiac data. Available with select patient monitoring systems from Philips, the 12-lead algorithm analyzesup to 12 simultaneously acquired ECG waveforms recorded over a ten-second period using interpretative criteria triggered by patient-specific information.To support more accurate diagnosis and treatment, the Philips 12-Lead Algorithm analyzes ECG data and produces an interpreted report that helps clinicians to assess a patient’s condition. Use HbA1c results to achieve therapeutic goals


•	The management goal for most patients with diabetes is an HbA1c result between 6% and 7%(1)
•	Any improvement in HbA1c levels can be significant(2,3)
•	"The predictive value of HbA1c for total mortality was stronger than that documented for cholesterol concentration, body mass index, and blood pressure."(4)

HbA1c – the most accepted metabolic indicator in diabetes

Microalbuminuria – the standard metabolic indicator for renal disease


•	Annual screening for microalbuminuria should begin at diagnosis in patients with type 2 diabetes and after 5 years' disease duration in type 1 diabetes(1)
